Major Automotive Manufacturer Selects SkillRight, Inc. to Develop and Deliver Assembly Plant Training

    DETROIT--June 12, 2003--SkillRight, Inc., a newly formed subsidiary of General Physics Corporation, has been chosen to develop and deliver Vehicle Electrical Repair Training, for the AutoAlliance Assembly Plant, a Michigan-based Ford/Mazda joint venture. SkillRight, a represented workforce company, has extensive experience in helping organizations develop and maintain world-class skills and knowledge.
    AutoAlliance will be launching the next generation Mustang while continuing to produce the recently introduced Mazda6 sedan and its derivatives. The increase in the plants production will warrant the need to launch a second shift. SkillRight, whose workforce is represented by UAW-TOP, working closely with Plant personnel will develop and deliver training specific to the new product's electrical system and the needs of the Plant. The training is expected to increase quality, productivity, and reduce parts waste. The program should last until early 2005.
