Syntel CEO to Participate on CeBIT America CNET News.com Vision Series CEO Panel

Theme: 'The Coming IT Cataclysm'

TROY, Mich., June 12 -- Syntel, Inc. announced today that its CEO Bharat Desai will participate in a special CEO Vision Panel as part of the CeBIT America conference. The panel takes place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., June 18, 2003 at the Jacob K. Javits Conference Center in New York City. The panel is part of the CNET News.com Vision Series.

Syntel Chairman and CEO Bharat Desai will discuss the impact of IT on the financial services, homeland security, health care, entertainment and life science industries which are massively disrupting the old order while generating billions of dollars in new business for IT companies. The panel will assess the potential of these pivotal events and their likely consequences for IT, the economy and society itself.

Joining Desai on the panel are Craig Donato, CEO and President of Grand Central Communications; Adena T. Friedman, Executive Vice President, NASDAQ Data Products, The NASDAQ Stock Market; and Chris Stone, Vice Chairman, Office of the CEO, Novell.
