Manufacturers Share Best Practices at JCIT International's Annual Demand Flow Technology Users Conference, August 20-22, 2003

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--June 12, 2003--Manufacturing professionals from all over the world will converge on JCIT International headquarters in Englewood, CO, August 20-22, 2003 to share manufacturing best practices and promote the benefits of Demand Flow(R) Technology (DFT).
Hosted by JCIT International, the conference is designed to bring practitioners of DFT together to obtain and share tools, strategies and best practices for driving manufacturing processes to customer demand.
"The DFT Conference was created to allow our customers, and others utilizing Demand Flow(R) and lean manufacturing methodologies, an opportunity to define their needs in terms of new technology and products," said Dean Gilliam, President and CEO, JCIT International. "It is an objective forum for individuals in companies that practice world class manufacturing, yet are seeking additional information, tools and networking relationships to further their goals and objectives."
The annual event, sponsored by JD Edwards, hosts a full day-and-a-half of speakers from a wide range of manufacturing industries speaking on topics including Extending DFT Into The Supply Chain, Using Simulation Tools To Accelerate Demand(R) Flow Implementation, DFT In High Volume Environments, Implementing Pay For Skill: A DFT Compensation Plan, DFT In A Configure To Order Business and Addressing Spike Orders With DFT.
"I didn't realize there were so many people involved with DFT until I attended the conference last year," said 2002 conference attendee Jeff Kibodeau of Hewlett Packard. "There's a genuine camaraderie you experience that is unique to this particular venue. We all speak the same language and share a common goal so focused to a particular discreet methodology that you can't help but get involved."
As part of the conference registration fee, attendees receive a free one-year membership to the DFT Users Group which will convene on Friday, August 22. The meeting will highlight the roll-out of DFT.com, the Group's website and online discussion platform. Other event highlights include the opening night networking reception, keynote dinner and annual golf tournament.
