New Customized Menu Selling from NAT, Inc. Connects Dealers, Service Contract Providers in Real Time via Web Gateway to Speed F&I Sales, Ensure Regulatory Compliance

ROSEMONT, Ill., June 12 -- NAT, Inc., a leading provider of service contract and other insurance product workflow software platforms, announced its new NAT Menu Selling application tool at the annual National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA) conference June 10-14 in Las Vegas. NAT Menu Selling, along with NAT Data Services and NAT Used Vehicle Merchandising Program, will be exhibited at Booth 1510.

These solutions are delivered to retailers and insurers through the NAT Gateway, a real-time e-commerce solution for independent and franchise auto and truck retailers to help them sell more service contracts and other insurance products faster with more accuracy. Participating insurers connect to the NAT Gateway to integrate with retailers' F&I department and DMS so transactions flow seamlessly through their business systems back to insurers and shared data repositories.

Menu selling structures the F&I selling process to ensure that all pertinent products are communicated to all buyers and to help F&I personnel overcome objections. It is also the accepted way to ensure that the F&I staff comply with disclosure and other regulatory requirements.

NAT Menu Selling enables F&I staff to easily offer customers complete service contracts and other insurance product options at varying cost and coverage -- at the point of sale. It pulls this data directly from insurance companies so the F&I staff can be certain the information presented is the most accurate and most current. Options and costs are displayed clearly and concisely helping F&I staff present information in compliance with current law and regulation -- and the customer make a more informed decision.

Once the vehicle VIN, mileage and customer's drivers ID have been entered into the system to generate the customized menu -- and the customer has made a decision -- no further data entry or administering of the process is required:

-- Processing occurs electronically via the NAT Gateway with the service
contract or other insurance product providers
-- A final, complete policy is generated at the point of sale
-- The sale is automatically entered into the DMS for immediate revenue
     recognition.

Because menu data is pulled in real time, income lost from changed rates is eliminated, and because of the immediate DMS integration, more efficient month-end accounting closing and reconciliation is possible.
