New Data Services from NAT, Inc. Helps Dealers Capture Lost Service Contract Revenue
ROSEMONT, Ill., June 12 -- NAT, Inc., a leading provider of service contract and other insurance product workflow software platforms, said its new Data Services application helps independent and franchise auto and truck dealers capture lost service contract revenue. NAT announced its Data Services application at the annual National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA) conference June 10-14 in Las Vegas. NAT Data Services, along with NAT Menu Selling and NAT Used Vehicle Merchandising, will be exhibited at Booth 1510.
NAT Data Services pulls data from the dealer's DMS to: -- Create formatted prospect lists of customers who did not buy a service contract during the initial vehicle sale. -- Create formatted RO customer-pay transaction reports to identify owners with frequent or high-cost service histories -- Identify which service contract or other F&I products sell best, with the most margin, to improve penetration -- Create professional after-sale follow up programs to recapture first-time lost service contract revenue.
These solutions are delivered to retailers and insurers through the NAT Gateway, a real-time e-commerce solution for independent and franchise auto and truck retailers to help them sell more service contracts and other insurance products faster with more accuracy. Participating insurers connect to the NAT Gateway to integrate with retailers' F&I department and DMS so transactions flow seamlessly through their business systems back to insurers and shared data repositories.
NAT Data Services revives service contract and other insurance product sales by identifying targeted customers who did not purchase these products during the initial sale of the vehicle. The application provides this data in user-friendly reports that enable dealerships and insurance companies to execute fast and precise sales and marketing programs.
NAT Data Services offers dealers a second opportunity to capture lost service contract revenue through four features:
1. After Sale Opportunity: Pulling from the monthly/weekly sales data in the DMS, retail sales information is collected and formatted into target marketing prospecting lists. Campaigns can be internally fulfilled using this data or can be outsourced to the NAT Follow-Up Program, described below. 2. After Service Sale Opportunity: Taking the monthly service data in the DMS, information regarding RO customer-pay transactions is formatted into marketing data that presents a clear view of lost sales opportunities. For example, customers who incur high repair bills can be targeted during or immediately after a high-cost service visit when they may be most open to a service contract. 3. Performance Measurement: Data services provides dealerships and insurance providers a clear view of product penetration and performance by identifying specific elements in the sales process that affect success, such as finance, lease and cash stratification, as well as transaction-level penetration by vendor. This data can also be presented listing all elements of a retail sales transaction, including customer information. By measuring and reporting store and similar results, penetration will be increased. 4. Outsourced After Sale Follow-Up: Seamless, robust data extraction from the DMS identifies prospective customers and extends additional purchase options to targeted individuals by using professional sales follow-up, presented with customized dealer branding. Once formerly lost sales opportunities become newly found revenue. About NAT ( www.natinc.com )
