Melexis Orders Multiple LTX Fusions to Test Advanced Automotive Devices

    WESTWOOD, Mass.--June 10, 2003--

Fusion CX Offers a High-Performance Solution for Testing Analog and Mixed-Signal Devices for the Automotive Industry

    LTX Corporation , a leading supplier of semiconductor test solutions, today announced that Melexis Microelectronic Integrated Systems, a leading semiconductor manufacturer specializing in automotive ICs, has purchased and taken delivery of multiple Fusion CX systems.
    Melexis, a leading supplier of ICs to automotive OEMs, is deploying Fusion CX systems at its Erfurt, Germany-based facility to test advanced automotive sensor ICs including bus transceivers and mixed signal devices with embedded microcontrollers and flash memory. These devices are used in engine and braking systems, throttle controls and safety applications. Fusion CX will also be used to test RF remote controls for central automotive applications.
    Fusion CX is a high-performance, cost-effective Fusion configuration well suited for applications such as wireless RF (including Bluetooth/802.11 and 3G transceivers), power management, automotive and consumer mixed-signal devices.
