Diodes Incorporated Promotes Joseph Liu to Senior VP of Operations

    WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--June 9, 2003--Diodes Incorporated , a leading manufacturer and supplier of high quality discrete semiconductors, today announced that Joseph Liu has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations from Vice President of Operations. Mr. Liu is also President and a director of Diodes-China and President of Diodes-FabTech, and will continue to serve in these capacities.
    Mr. Liu joined Diodes in 1990 as part of a new management team that was charged with building sound management infrastructure to support the Company's expansion and provide a foundation for consistent profitability. Since 1990, the Company has increased revenue at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 20%, and it has recorded 12 consecutive years of profitability.
    During his 13 years at Diodes, Mr. Liu has served in a variety of positions, including Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer, and Vice President of Far East Operations. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Liu spent nineteen years with Texas Instruments (TI) in various management positions, including Operations Manager and Controller for TI Asia.
