Rouge Industries Confirms Exploratory Discussions

DEARBORN, Mich., June 9 -- Rouge Industries, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: RGID) confirmed today that it is conducting preliminary and exploratory discussions with a potential acquirer. While no terms of any possible transaction have been discussed, the potential acquirer is undertaking an informal review of Rouge's assets and its business in an effort to determine whether it has any interest in pursuing a transaction with Rouge.
