Ford Centennial Celebration: Traffic & Parking Update For Dearborn, Ford World Headquarters & Ford Credit
DEARBORN, Mich., June 8 -- As Ford finalizes the details for the upcoming Centennial Celebration beginning this Thursday, June 12 - 16, employees or guests that work or visit Ford World Headquarters and/or Ford Motor Credit Company will be directed to park at the old QMP building, located at the corner of Southfield and Rotunda. The old QMP building is designated EMPLOYEE PARKING LOCATION OVER THE DATES OF JUNE 9 - 18. Those attending the Centennial Celebration over the dates of June 12 - 16 will receive parking passes with their tickets for other locations.
Employees and guests will be shuttled to and from Ford World Headquarters and Ford Motor Credit Company to allow for event organizers and exhibitors to complete preparations that will celebrate the company's 100th anniversary. There will be no parking on the grounds of World Headquarters or Ford Credit during this time and it is expected that traffic in the Southfield and Rotunda area will be heavier than usual.
With less than five days to the start of the Ford Motor Company The Road Is Ours! 100th Anniversary Celebration, event organizers are busy with the finishing touches that will greet over 82,000 registered guests over the five- day celebration.
