FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., June 3 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 36,545 vehicles for the month of May, an increase of 5.3 percent over the previous year. Year-to-date sales of Hyundai vehicles in the U.S. are up 7.5 percent. "Auto buyers in the U.S. are looking for value more than ever," said Robert Cosmai, vice-president of national sales for Hyundai Motor America. "Our lineup of Hyundai vehicles deliver that value," he added. "May sales were led by the Santa Fe sport utility vehicle, the compact Elantra and the midsize Sonata sedan."

"All Hyundai vehicles sold in the U.S. are also covered by the Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty, which includes the outstanding 10-year/100,000 Powertrain Warranty," Cosmai said. "It's all part of the great Hyundai value story."
