Nissan North America Reports May Sales
GARDENA, Calif.--June 3, 2003--Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported May total sales of 70,967 for its Nissan and Infiniti divisions, a 6.7 percent increase versus May of last year. NNA reports selling 307,802 units calendar year-to-date, a 2.8 percent decrease from last year at this time.INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS

NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS
-- Nissan-brand sales for May are up 2.1 percent when compared to
last May, with 59,818 units sold
-- Sales for Nissan-brand vehicles are down 7.4 percent calendar
year-to-date with 261,477 units sold
NNA INFORMATION
-- Combined May sales for Nissan and Infiniti totaled 70,967
units, a 6.7 percent increase from last May
-- Sales of NNA's North American-produced vehicles for May
totaled 44,218, representing 75.2 percent of all NNA vehicles
sold in the United States

percent
