VENICE, Calif.--June 2, 2003--Before hitting the stage on Saturday, May 31, for their co-headlining concert as part of the 2003 Civic Tour, New Found Glory awarded Laura Lares of Pittsburg, CA, one of their customized and autographed Honda Civic Si's that the band personally designed. Lares was among the contestants who won a chance to randomly select a key that could start the New Found Glory Civic through a contest with San Francisco's top alternative station Live 105 (KITS). Whereas Lares was the lucky winner whose key started the engine, all of the contestants were awarded a pair of tickets to that night's show as well as the opportunity to meet Ian, Jordan, Cyrus, Steve and Chad of New Found Glory.
Fans still have even more opportunities to win one of the six remaining customized Civics designed by New Found Glory or Good Charlotte through upcoming promotions along with the "Drive Away With" national sweepstakes at civictour.com.
Civic Tour is a unique promotion where music fans can catch one of their favorite acts and have a chance at winning one of 12 new customized Honda Civic Si's designed and autographed by New Found Glory or Good Charlotte. Created and produced by Marketing Factory, Inc., Civic Tour is bringing the Honda Civic brand closer to youthful, contemporary drivers, while offering music fans more from their favorite bands.
