Carlisle Companies Acquires Flo-Pac, a Leading Manufacturer of Brooms, Brushes and Cleaning Tools

    CHARLOTTE, N.C.--June 2, 2003--Carlisle Companies Incorporated announced today that it has acquired Flo-Pac Corporation, a leading manufacturer of quality brooms, brushes, rotary brushes and cleaning tools for the sanitary maintenance industry. Flo-Pac, founded in 1913, has operations located in Minneapolis, MN; Atlanta, GA; and Fontana, CA. Sales for 2002 were $26.5 million.
