Altair Engineering's Dr. Uwe Schramm to Discuss Reliability-Based Design at ABAQUS Conference
TROY, Mich.--June 2, 2003--Dr. Uwe Schramm, program manager for optimization products at Altair Engineering, Inc., will present a technical paper at ABAQUS Inc.'s 16th Annual Users Conference, June 4-6 in Munich, Germany.Schramm's paper, "Reliability-based Design using ABAQUS and Altair HyperWorks", will be presented at 2:25 p.m. on Thursday, June 5 in the Koenigsalle of Munich's Bayerischer Hof Hotel.
A noted authority on product optimization, Schramm, along with co-author Atul Sahai of Altair, will overview reliability-based design and optimization, and present a statistical engineering approach to address design robustness, reliability and performance. The technical presentation will be of primary interest to manufacturers pursuing Six Sigma initiatives and profitability.
