   WHO:      When Chris Pook was thrust into the leadership role of the CART
             series at the end of 2001, some big promises were made -- which
             included revitalizing the company, getting more people in the
             stands, and providing numerous marketing opportunities for
             high-dollar sponsors.  Open wheel racing has had its ups and
             downs over the years, Chris Pook is determined to grow the
             series and provide race fans with better competition and
