Yazaki Names New Vice Presidents
CANTON, Mich., May 29, 2003 -- Yazaki North America, Inc. (Yazaki), a leading supplier of vehicle power and data solutions to the automotive industry, has named Barbara Long vice president of the new Alpha Business Unit, from executive director of program management and Rich Tajer vice president Connector Operations, from director of sales. George R. Perry, president and CEO of Yazaki North America, made the announcement.

"Barbara knows our business inside out and her proven leadership capability is ideally suited for this assignment. The newly formed Alpha Group focuses on the unique requirements of automotive and truck Tier One customers.
Long brings more than 20 years of sales experience within Yazaki to her new position, having most recently served as executive director for sales and program management in the DaimlerChrysler Business Unit. Tajer joined Yazaki in 1998 and brings a wealth of sales experience within the automotive industry.
"With the establishment of this new business unit, focused on our Tier One customers," explains Long.
