CCITRIAD and DST Announce Strategic Agreement to Provide Superior Connectivity And Enhanced Data Accessibility

Joint Marketing Agreement Will Maximize Supply Chain Reach and Efficiency

AUSTIN, Texas and IRVINE, Calif., May 27 -- CCITRIAD, an industry leader in data services, management and information systems for the automotive aftermarket, and DST, Inc., a leading provider of systems and services to the automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket distribution industry, today announced a strategic agreement that will extend connectivity and access to data across additional technology platforms for improved trading and collaboration. Under the agreement, CCITRIAD will market its electronic catalogs to DST customers and DST will market TurboSpark, a proven Internet ordering tool providing speed and ease-of-use.

"Working together, CCITRIAD and DST have maximized supply chain reach and efficiency for our customers," said Hoon Chung, general manager of CCITRIAD's Automotive Division. "Our alliance with DST combines the strength and depth of our data and connectivity offerings with DST's cutting-edge technology environment and functionality to create an unprecedented opportunity for growth and profitability for both our customers."

To achieve this, CCITRIAD's ShopCat(TM) data suite and PartExpert(R) electronic database will be integrated with DSTWare, a sophisticated networking platform that uses IBM(R) iSeries-based architecture, DST's nTierPrise(TM) franchise system and DST TurboSpark. Additionally, CCITRIAD's AConneX(TM) trading partner network will provide broader connectivity across all integrated solutions. Using these integrated solutions and services, joint customers -- from warehouse distributors and jobbers to retailers, service chains and independent service dealers -- will significantly increase their access to the broadest set of data and trading partners, across extended platforms and technologies.

DST president Ray Stover said, "DST has solved the fundamental challenge in the parts industry by significantly improving efficiencies and profitability for our customers. The synergy of the DST and CCITRIAD solutions will truly create a milestone in aftermarket supply chain advancement. Our interconnected solution raises the bar for aftermarket supply chain performance. We're pleased to join with CCITRIAD in this demonstration of the commitments of both companies. Together, we are solving the complex technical issues of the aftermarket supply chain by providing high-performance, cost-effective solutions for those businesses that recognize technology as a key tool in their development plans."
