Amerigon Holds Annual Meeting

DEARBORN, Mich., May 27, 2003 -- Amerigon Incorporated today announced that it held its Annual Meeting of Shareholders, Thursday, May 22, 2003, at its offices in Dearborn, MI, as scheduled. A quorum of shareholders was present in person or by proxy. All proposals submitted to the shareholders were approved, including the election of directors to the Board of Directors.

The directors elected to serve until the next annual meeting are Daniel R. Coker, President and Chief Executive Officer of Amerigon; Oscar (Bud) Marx, Chairman of the Board; Lon E. Bell, Ph.D., Vice Chairman of the Board and President of BSST, LLC, Amerigon's research and development subsidiary; Francois J. Castaing, retired technical advisor to the Chairman of DaimlerChrysler Corporation; John W. Clark, Managing Member of Westar Capital LLC; Paul Oster, Chief Financial Officer of TMW Enterprises; and James J. Paulsen, retired Ford senior executive.
