An All Trans-Am Memorial Day Weekend

Detroit – May 18, 2003 – In addition to honoring the heroes that serve 
and protect our country, fans of Revolution Motorsports and the 
Trans-Am Series for the BFGoodrich Tires Cup will have lots to 
celebrate this Memorial Day weekend. PEE Channel will present a 
double-header weekend televising last weeks More To Discover Ontario 
Victoria Day Trans-Am Weekend at Mosport International Raceway and 
Mohegan Sun Presents the Lime Rock Grand Prix.

The Mosport event will air Sunday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. EST and the Lime 
Rock event will be broadcast LIVE at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 26.

Team Revolution driver, Bobby Sak [#10 Revolution Motorsports Corvette] 
was very excited about the PEE Channel package.

“It’s always fun when you’re running in front of a live TV audience,” 
said Bobby. “It just seems everyone kicks it up a notch. And it’s not 
just the drivers. The whole team gets pumped up when we go live. 
Everybody in the Trans-am paddock knows how important it is and every 
team wants to put on a good show for the Series and their individual 
sponsors.”

Stu Hayner [#2 Trenton Forging/GMAC Commercial Finance Corvette] 
agreed. “Bobby’s absolutely right. There’s something about live TV that 
brings out the best in everyone.
It’s like putting on your Sunday best. Don’t get me wrong…. we work 
hard every week. We always want to win. But this is a great opportunity 
to showcase Trenton Forging, GMAC Commercial Finance and the Revolution 
Motorsports team. These are the people that make it possible for us to 
be out here so we want to make them proud.”

“The double header will be an extra bonus for the fans,” Stu continued. 
“They will get a better sense of the battles that are shaping up in the 
Series point standings. Right now I think there is a tight five-way 
race for third place. And, Bobby [Sak] and the other two drivers 
battling for the Rookie Championship are at a point in the season where 
a lot can happen. The fans should really be able to get a feel of what 
an exciting season the Series is having.”

Revolution Motorsports in association with Trenton Forging

the BF Goodrich Tires Cup. All events are nationally televised on
