Westport announces fourth quarter and year end conference call on June 3, 2003

VANCOUVER, May 21, 2003 -- Westport Innovations Inc. (TSX:WPT) announced today that it will disclose its fiscal fourth quarter financial results on June 3, 2003. To coincide with the disclosure, Westport has scheduled a conference call for Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at 8 am (Pacific Time).

After the formal presentations, Westport will accept questions from analysts and institutional investors. The public is invited to listen to the conference call in real time or by replay.
