These rates are valid at select airport locations for weekend day rentals and start at $16.99 for a compact car (Chevrolet Cavalier or similar) or $21.99 for a midsize car (Oldsmobile Alero or similar) in Myrtle Beach; or $19.99 for a compact car and $20.99 for a midsize car in San Francisco. Avis is also offering special nationwide weekly rates on midsize automobiles and minivans. Customers can rent a midsize car for $149 or a minivan (Pontiac Montana or similar) for $229.
