COORS LIGHT TEAM FACTS:

-Lovin' Lowe's: The Coors Light team loves Lowe's Motor Speedway. The Silver Bullet Dodge has pulled into the Lowe's victory lane twice in the past two years.

-In October 2001, Sterling Marlin won the UAW-GM Quality 500. The next year, Jamie McMurray, filling in for an injured Marlin, won the UAW-GM Quality 500. McMurray set a new modern era NASCAR record by becoming the quickest driver to win a NASCAR Winston Cup Series race. McMurray won in only his second Winston Cup start.

-Chassis: The Coors Light team will race chassis #115 in the Coca-Cola 600. This is the same car that Sterling drove to victory lane in the 2001 UAW-GM Quality 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. This chassis also gave Dodge it's first win in Michigan 2001.

-NASCAR's Top-10: Sterling Marlin moved into 10th place in NASCAR Winston Cup Championship points following his 13th place finish at Richmond. This is the first time Marlin has been in the top-10 in points this season.

-On a roll: Marlin has scored top-15 finishes in the last four races.

-Brooks & Dunn paint scheme: Sterling Marlin's No. 40 Coors Light Dodge will feature a Brooks & Dunn paint scheme for the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. The special paint scheme will feature logos of the Neon Circus tour as well as the Red Dirt Road logos to help promote the tour and the new release.
"Chip Ganassi racing and Brooks & Dunn are two of our longest running sponsorships and are our two most valued partners," said Pat Ramirez, Director of Sales Services for Coors Brewing Company. "Kix and Ronnie will be performing in Charlotte on June 13, and their new album, Red Dirt Road, will be in stores in mid July, so it made sense to put their logos on the car for this race. We know the fans and the race team will enjoy this special paint scheme."

-Memorial Day 1100: Team owner Chip Ganassi will be traveling from the Indy 500 to the Coca-Cola 600 on May 25. He has two cars entered in the open-wheel race (Scott Dixon and Tomas Scheckter).
