China Auto Seminar May 27 in Troy, Michigan
DETROIT, May 21 -- Global Auto Systems in partnership with the Original Equipment Suppliers Association is sponsoring "Opportunities for Suppliers: China 2010 - A Strategic Outlook," an analysis of the booming automotive market in China, on May 27, 2003 at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy, Michigan. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the program will conclude at 11:00 a.m.
"Opportunities for Suppliers: China 2010 - A Strategic Outlook," will feature speakers with broad experience in and knowledge of the Chinese automotive market. Michael Dunne, President, Automotive Resources Asia, will present an overview of the China market, with a detailed look at the key players, major products, critical alliances, and new investments. Denton Dance, Senior Manager, Asia-Pacific Forecasting, J.D. Power and Associates, will provide forecasts for light vehicle sales and production in China through 2010. Paul Lienert, President, Global Auto Systems, will present highlights from the recent Shanghai Auto Show, including details on the significant new cars, trucks, minivans, and utility vehicles introduced at the show.
Copies of the presentations will be available to conference attendees, who will also have an opportunity to meet and address questions to the presenters.
Zhang Qi, Editor, China Auto 2000, and Lienert have written an in-depth report on the China auto industry, called "China 2010: Future Growth & Investment Opportunities," that will be offered at a special rate to seminar attendees. The book provides critical statistics and details on the industry's structure and organization, the role of government, and specific investment opportunities for suppliers and manufacturers.
