Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour Retains JMPR for Public Relations Project

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., May 19, 2003 -- The Automotive Enthusiast and Action Sports Group of PRIMEDIA, one of the world's most innovative media companies, and the #1 special interest magazine publisher in the U.S. with more than 250 titles, has retained the services of JMPR, Inc. for a public relations project to promote its 9th Annual Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour.

JMPR will handle national and regional media relations for Hot Rod Magazine's 2003 Hot Rod Power Tour, which brings its visual spectacle of the nation's most unique classic and late-model performance vehicles to the heart of the South. The eight-day, seven-city "road trip," beginning May 30 and concluding June 6, will traverse nearly 1,500 miles from Nashville, Tennessee to Fort Worth, Texas. More than 14,000 vehicles are expected to participate in all or a portion of the Tour, and 200,000 drivers and enthusiasts will experience the thousands of colorful, personalized cars and trucks.
