EDEN, WILLIAMS WIN JB MILLER 100

Indianapolis, IN  1999 NAMARS Rookie of the Year, Sondi Eden garnered her fourth MidgetCar career victory in stellar fashion from the front row Thursday night at the Indianapolis Speedrome. Eden led all fifty laps of the JB Miller Memorial 100 over pole sitter Mel Kenyon.  Bobby Smith, Sean Smith, and John Lucas rounded out the top five. Melborne, Australia's Paul Farrell leads Regional MidgetCar Series Rookie of the Year points by virtue of his impressive sixth place finish for the first pavement MidgetCar outing of his career.  A large crowd saw Jamie Williams bring home his second win in two races over Series champ Bryan Clauson, Derek Bishack, Brent Beauchamp, and Brandon Knupp in Kenyon MidgetCar Series competition.

NAMARS 500 POSTPONED

Speedway, IN  NAMARS Officials announced today that the NAMARS 500 lap race scheduled for Thursday, May 22nd will be postponed to a later date this summer to allow all Drivers and spectators to enjoy the rained out Champ Car race at IRP without conflict.  All tickets and discount coupons will be honored on the rescheduled date to be announced next week.
