Teleflex Appoints Clark Handy as Executive Vice President, Human Resources

    PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa.--May 16, 2003--Teleflex Incorporated today announced that Clark Handy has joined the company in the position of Executive Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Handy will lead the development and implementation of human resource programs and policies across Teleflex businesses worldwide.

    Mr. Handy was most recently Vice President of Human Resources for the Global Research and Development Group at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. His experience includes management positions with Georgia Pacific Corporation, James River Corporation and Hallmark Cards. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Mr. Handy retired from the United States Naval Reserve with the rank of Commander.
