United Road Services, Inc. Announces Termination of Registration

ROMULUS, Mich., May 15, 2003 -- United Road Services, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: URSI) announced that yesterday it filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission a Certification and Notice of Termination of Registration under Section 12(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 on Form 15 pursuant to the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the "Exchange Act"). The filing of a certification on Form 15 immediately suspends the Company's obligation to file periodic reports pursuant to the Exchange Act. The Company's termination of registration under the Exchange Act of its common stock will become effective 90 days after filing the certification on Form 15.

United Road Services, Inc. provides automobile transport services for new and used vehicles throughout the United States and motor vehicle and equipment towing services.
