Reichhold Names New Technology Manager for Architectural Market Segment
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--May 14, 2003--Carl Sullivan, PhD, joined Reichhold on April 1 as the architectural technology manager for its Global Coating and Performance Resins (GCPR) business.In this role he has global responsibility for the strategic development, positioning and integration of new technologies and new products within the architectural segment in addition to supporting existing business.
Most recently, Sullivan spent the last four years with Bayer Corporation as the global technical manager, for powder intermediates and prior to that as the technical directory of solid resins for RUCO Polymer. Sullivan started his career as a chemist at Arco Chemicals (now Lyondell) and moved into other positions including research and development project leader and market development manager over his 15 years of service.
"Carl brings extensive knowledge in both the liquids and powder coatings to Reichhold which will help take our architectural business to the next level," said Mosongo Moukwa, vice president of technology for GCPR.
Carl has both a PhD in polymer science and engineering and a M.S. in polymer science and engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He also has a B.S. in chemistry from the Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. Sullivan has six U.S. patents and 26 published articles.
Sullivan is located at Reichhold's world headquarters in Research Triangle Park, NC.
