CCITRIAD Announces Expansion of Professional Services, Names Former i2 Director to Oversee

Tom Sheppard Brings Supply Chain Management Experience to Aid in Customers' System Optimization

AUSTIN, Texas, May 14 -- CCITRIAD, the leading provider of data services, management and information systems for the automotive aftermarket, today announced that it has expanded its services department beyond its current customer support activities. The renamed Professional Services department will be headed by newly appointed vice president, Tom Sheppard. In his new role, Sheppard will be responsible for the introduction and delivery of Connectivity integration services and Supply Chain Analytics in addition to the department's current customer support activities.

The new services are designed to help current and future customers grow their businesses and to reduce supply chain investments:

  -- Connectivity -- provides a suite of integration services for CCITRIAD's
     AConneX partners and customers.  These new services accelerate
     connection into the AConneX trading community, allowing for Internet-
     based buying and selling of parts.
  -- Supply Chain Analytics -- provides manufacturers and distributors
     visibility into aftermarket supply chain networks for both inventory
     levels and demand rates.  CCITRIAD partners can leverage this
     information to identify opportunities for increased revenues and
     reduced inventory investments.

Sheppard has more than 13 years experience in various supply chain management positions. Most recently, he served as Director for i2 Technologies' Aftermarket Service and Parts Planning solutions where he managed the integration of the company's automotive aftermarket implementations with major ERP vendors. Prior to that, he spent six years at Numetrix, Inc., a decision support software company where he played key roles in delivering successful supply chain planning and distribution implementations to customers throughout the U.S. and Europe.
