Moldflow Announces Significant Product Licensing Agreement with a Major European Manufacturer

    WAYLAND, Mass.--May 14, 2003--Moldflow Corporation , the world leader in software solutions for optimizing the design and manufacture of plastic products, announced today that a major European supplier of plastic parts to the global automotive industry has followed a successful pilot implementation with an order for a significant plant-wide deployment of Moldflow Manufacturing Solutions(TM) (MMS(TM)) products at its custom molding plant.
    The customer's decision to expand the scope of their MMS implementation validates the experience with their initial Manufacturing Solutions product installation and the quality of the technical support they have received from Moldflow over a number of years. In addition to their MMS implementation, the customer's engineering team uses the Moldflow Plastics Insight(R) product suite to optimize product and mold designs for cost efficiency and high quality part production.
    The order, which is valued at over $580,000, is expected to ship during Moldflow's fourth fiscal quarter.
