Syntegra Appoints Senior Executives to Advance Global Vertical Strategy

    ARDEN HILLS, Minn.--May 14, 2003--Syntegra, the $900 million leader in business transformation, change management and systems integration - has appointed three senior executives to advance implementation of the company's global vertical strategy and to strengthen the company's strategic focus.
    The three appointments are: Derek Messulam, who becomes vice president energy and communications sectors; Rich Pirrotta who becomes vice president of the manufacturing sector; and Chris Turnquist who becomes vice president of the retail sector.

    Among the key appointments are the following:

    Derek Messulam has been named vice president of the Energy & Communications sectors. Derek joined Syntegra in the fall of 2001 to establish and build the company's Communications sector, which achieved over 50 percent growth during 2002. In his new position Derek will take on the additional responsibility of leading the Energy sector. Prior to joining Syntegra Derek held senior management roles at Telcordia Technologies and Arthur Andersen. He is based in New York City.
    Rich Pirrotta has been named vice president of the Manufacturing sector. Rich joined Syntegra in November 2002 as director, industry marketing and has been promoted to vice president. He will be responsible for aligning teams in the US and Europe to deliver world-class solutions for manufacturing enterprises. Prior to joining Syntegra, Rich held senior management positions in the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practice of Deloitte&Touche, at the Fiera Group, and at Deloitte Consulting. He is based in Birmingham, Michigan.
    Chris Turnquist was named vice president of the Retail sector. Chris joined Syntegra in September 2002 as retail industry marketing director where he transformed Syntegra's core capabilities into relevant, industry-specific propositions for retailers. In his new role, Chris is responsible for the sales, service and marketing operations for Retail. Prior to joining Syntegra Chris held senior management roles at Net Perceptions and Knowledge Discovery One, Inc. (KD1). He is based in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
