Behr America Names Ferrington Customer-Center Vice President
TROY, Mich., May 13, 2003 -- William P. Ferrington has been appointed vice president of Behr America's North American customer centers, according to Hans Lange, the company's president.
In his new position, Ferrington will be responsible for program management, product development and customer relationships with North American car and light-truck manufacturers. He previously was vice president of sales and marketing for Collins & Aikman Corporation's Dura Convertible Systems and Collins & Aikman de Mexico units.
Before joining Collins & Aikman, Ferrington was vice president of sales for the Ford and Mitsubishi business units of Becker Group, Inc. Prior to that, he was vice president of product development and engineering services with Trinova/Aeroquip Corporation, where he also held senior managerial positions in sales, engineering services, and product development.
Ferrington holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan. He lives in Shelby Township, Michigan with his wife and three children.
