Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America Receives GM Supplier of the Year Award for Fourth Straight Year
NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich., May 12, 2003 -- Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America, Inc. (MEAA) received General Motors Corporation's 2002 Supplier of the Year Award for its overall business performance for the fourth consecutive year. The award was given during a ceremony held Saturday, April 12, 2003, in Miami at the Miracle Theatre.
MEAA supplies ignition coil modules from its Maysville, Ky., plant for engines used in GM trucks worldwide. It is one of only 70 suppliers to receive the award. Winners are chosen for excellence in quality, service, technology and price.

The GM Supplier of the Year award began as a global program in 1992. Award-winners are selected by a global team of executives from purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and logistics.
