BLAINVILLE, Quebec, May 9, 2003 -- Mr. Yvon Rancourt, Chairman of NewTech Brake Corp. (OTC BB: NWTB), a subsidiary of NewTech Group International Inc., is pleased to announce the nomination of Mr. Denis Fillion as Vice-President of Operations. Mr. Fillion will be in charge of the implementation of the "just-in-time" system for the worldwide organization during this year.
Influenced by the inventory management models of the Automobile Manufacturers, Mr. Fillion will develop and implement a management structure for the complete manufacturing process. His key areas of responsibility include manufacturing, materials management, product industrialization, continuous quality improvement and distribution via the Chinese subsidiary, its suppliers as well as the North American distribution system. With this proven approach, this arrangement will provide a guarantee of efficiency to the total organization.

About Mr. Denis Fillion
With more than thirty years of experience working for GM, Mr. Fillion has established a solid reputation in logistics, technical support, inventory management, quality control and management of production operations. During his last five years with GM, he was in charge of the JIT (just-in-time) system. For the last six years, he has worked as a consultant for different suppliers and subcontractors of the Automotive Industry.
