WILLIAMS WINS KENYON OPENER

Indianapolis, IN  Series veteran Jamie Williams won the first round of the 2003 Kenyon MidgetCar Series Thursday night at the Indianapolis Speedrome over defending Series champion Bryan Clauson, Jordon Noblitt, Cam Dodson, and Rookie of the Year contender Brent Beauchamp.  Picking up where last season's torrid battles left off, Williams and Clausen raced bumper to bumper for fifty laps with only one caution period for a Turn 4 spin by Alex Gamber.  NAMARS returns to the Indianapolis Speedrome this Sunday, May 11th for the Championship MidgetCar Series opener along with the second "Crash-A-Rama" thrill show.
