SANTA ANA, Calif., May 8 -- MSC.Software Corp. , the leading global provider of virtual product development (VPD) simulation software, services and systems, today announced that Medina, Minnesota-based Polaris Industries has standardized on MSC.ADAMS software tools for the design and development of recreational vehicles. Polaris Industries Inc. designs, engineers and manufactures all terrain vehicles (ATVs), snowmobiles, motorcycles and personal watercraft (PWC) and had revenues of more than $1.5 billion in 2002.

In 2003, Polaris plans to phase in use of MSC.ADAMS into the design process for snowmobiles, motorcycles and ultimately into their personal watercraft line.
