Crevier BMW Presents Quarterly Check To Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

SANTA ANA, Calif., May 7, 2003 -- Crevier BMW kicked off its 2003 "Driving Out Breast Cancer" campaign to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, with the presentation of a first-quarter check of $7875 from the Santa Ana dealership which promises to help Crevier BMW reach their projected goal of donating approximately $50,000 by year's end. That will provide over 750 breast cancer screenings for women uninsured or underinsured in Orange County.

Since 1997, Crevier has been a major supporter of the Komen Foundation, raising funds for breast cancer research and awareness and earlier this year, kicked off its donation at $1 per mile during specially designated BMW test- drive periods.

"The fight against breast cancer is too important to limit to only a few days or weeks a year," said Don Crevier, owner of the 32-year-old dealership and son of its co-founder, Bob Crevier. "We want every BMW test drive made at the dealership all year long to count."

"The Orange County community has been very generous in its support of our campaign," said Crevier. "People hear or see one of our ads and want to come out to do their part. Some participants are honoring a friend or loved one lost to breast cancer, but many are simply stopping by because they want to help. And it does help -- every test drive and every mile bring us one step closer to the day when breast cancer will no longer be a life-threatening illness."
