Kevin Kelly Named CFO at The SoftAd Group

    DEARBORN, Mich.--May 7, 2003--Kevin Kelly has joined The SoftAd Group as chief financial officer, according to SoftAd Founder and CEO Paula George Tompkins. "Kevin brings an extensive and diverse background of experience to SoftAd," Tompkins added, "including over 20 years at Ford Motor Company and three years as a financial officer in two high-tech companies."
    His responsibilities will include supervision of all accounting functions, financial analysis, banking relationships and cash management oversight. SoftAd is a pioneer in creating software for marketing a company's products and services using the Internet.
    Mr. Kelly had been VP and CFO of Nexiq Technologies, Inc., a producer of diagnostic hardware and software for commercial vehicles. Prior to that, he was general manager and CFO of RapportNET, an Internet-based wealth management product and service company.
    Mr. Kelly began his career at Ford Motor Company and served in a variety of senior financial positions for more than 20 years. His assignments have included controller, treasury and financial analysis functions in Ford's Purchasing, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Corporate Treasury areas, as well controller and treasury functions at Ford Motor Credit Company.
    Mr. Kelly received both his Bachelor of Science in Business in 1976 and his MBA degree in Finance in 1977 from Cornell University.
