Quantum Delivers Hydrogen Storage Systems to Suzuki

IRVINE, Calif., May 6, 2003 -- Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. , announced that it has developed and delivered proprietary light weight hydrogen fuel storage and delivery systems for Suzuki Motor Corporation's Fuel Cell Vehicle Program. Quantum was commissioned by Suzuki to design and integrate hydrogen fuel systems that incorporate Quantum's proprietary ultra-lightweight, all composite TriShield(TM) hydrogen tanks and its patented in-tank regulator. The 5,000-psi (350 bar) systems meet regulatory standards in the U.S. (NGV2), Japan (KHK), and Europe (EIHP).
