Hyundai Sales for April Set New Record
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., May 1 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 35,001 vehicles for the month of April, setting a new record for the month. April sales increased 13 percent over last year and total sales for 2003 are up 8 percent over 2002. "Our sales momentum continued in April as auto buyers are looking for the tremendous value that Hyundai products deliver," said Robert Cosmai, vice-president of national sales for Hyundai Motor America. "Sales of the Santa Fe sport utility vehicle remain very strong and Elantra and Sonata are also selling well."
"All Hyundai vehicles sold in the U.S. are also covered by The Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty which includes the outstanding 10-year/100,000 Powertrain Warranty," Cosmai said. "It's all part of the Hyundai value story."
