Nissan North America Reports April 2003 Sales
GARDENA, Calif.--May 1, 2003--Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported April total sales of 60,940 units for its Nissan and Infiniti divisions, a 4.2 percent decrease versus April of last year. NNA reports selling 236,835 units calendar year-to-date, a 5.4 percent decrease from last year at this time.INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS

| -- | FX sales remain consistent with last month, selling 2,111 units |
| -- | The increasing product line for Infiniti contributed to a 33.3 percent increase in calendar year-to-date sales with 35,176 units sold |
NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS
-- Nissan-brand sales for April totaled 52,068 units, a 6.3
percent decrease from last April
-- The all-new Nissan Maxima completed its first full month of
sales in April, the nameplate had its best April ever with
sales of 11,584 units
-- Sales for Nissan-brand vehicles are down 9.9 percent calendar
year-to-date with 201,659 units sold
NNA INFORMATION
-- Combined April sales for Nissan and Infiniti totaled 60,940
units, a 4.2 percent decrease from last April
-- Sales of NNA's North American produced vehicles for April
totaled 35,198, representing 59.9 percent of all NNA vehicles
sold in the United States
-- Calendar year-to-date sales totaled 236,835 units, down 5.4
percent
