Michigan IT Summit Announces Automotive Keynote Roundtable
Participants Represent Breadth of Automotive IT Industry
DETROIT, May 1 -- The planning committee for the 2003 Michigan IT Summit announces today its keynote automotive roundtable for the May 19 event at The Palace of Auburn Hills, Michigan. Representing the automotive IT community for this discussion are Scott Carlton, automotive general manager, Microsoft Corporation; Vince Morrotti, vice president and chief technology officer, DaimlerChrysler AG; Jeff Wacker, EDS Fellow, vice president and chief technical officer for EDS' global industry groups and Bette Walker, IS&S executive director of global business services and operations, Delphi Corporation.
Bill Hampton, editor of AutoBeat Daily, will host this lively executive roundtable question and answer session. The roundtable, "Auto IT v2.0: What's Working and What's Next for the Automotive Industry," immediately follows the opening General Session where Governor Granholm has been invited to speak. The discussion will focus on doing more with less today in the automotive industry and what exciting innovations await the industry in the next chapter of auto technology.
