Universal Technical Institute, Inc. and the University of Phoenix Form Partnership to Assist Students Nationwide Advance their Education
PHOENIX--April 30, 2003--To assist graduates of the Universal Technical Institute, Inc. who are interested in obtaining their bachelor's degree, the institute and the University of Phoenix announced the recent signing of an articulation agreement between the two schools.The agreement allows Universal Technical Institute graduates to take a portion of the credits they earned while completing one of Universal Technical Institute's automotive programs and transfer them directly toward a bachelor's degree at any of the University of Phoenix's campuses nationwide or online.

Some of the highlights of the agreement include:

-- | university representatives available to meet with upcoming Universal Technical Institute graduates on an ongoing basis; |
-- | acceptance of up to a maximum of 72 transfer credits from Universal Technical Institute's automotive degree programs; and |
-- | the waiving of tuition for a student's last course in the baccalaureate degree program if they have remained in continuous enrollment and good academic standing. |
