PIR MEDIA DAY - FINAL REMINDER

This is a final reminder that Media Day for this week's Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series races at PIR will be held Thursday from noon-1 p.m. at the Infield Media Center at the track. The drivers available will be local's Darren Law and Terry Borcheller, as well as series point contender J.C. France. Legendary driver and series point leader Hurley Haywood will also be available for interviews during this time.

The event will begin with a short Rolex Series 101 featuring drivers and crew chiefs breaking down one of the new Daytona Prototype cars. Lunch will be served and media will have the opportunity to eat and visit with drivers surrounding interviews.

Place: PIR Infield Media Center

For media who have already requested credentials, they can be picked up at the track credential trailers (Gate 1) prior to entering the infield. If you are coming to media day and have not requested credentials, please let me know now that you are coming, and we will have credentials waiting.

THERE ARE STILL A FEW SPOTS REMAINING TO TAKE A RIDE AROUND THE PIR ROAD COURSE IN ONE OF THE NEW DAYTONA PROTOTYPE CARS. THE RIDES WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 11 a.m. -NOON TOMORROW.

IF YOU PLANNING ON TAKING A RIDE, PLEASE BE AT THE INFIELD MEDIA CENTER NO LATER THAN 10:45 A.M.
