Sure Trace Confirms Channel Partner Asset Protection ``Pilot Program'' with Budget Rent a Car -- S. Africa -- to Combat Rampant Theft in Rental Car Industry

    KELOWNA, British Columbia--April 29, 2003--Sure Trace Security Corporation (Sure Trace) (OTCBB:SSTY) through its wholly owned subsidiary, Identification Technologies Inc. (IDENTEX) has begun a key pilot program of Asset Protection for Budget Rent a Car of South Africa eighth its channel partner iPico Holdings Pty. of South Africa (iPico), which develop and market leading identification and authentication products and solutions.
    The Budget Rent a Car program was developed to combat the massive tire theft occurring in that country's rental car industry. South Africa has a massive tire counterfeiting problem that exceeds 55%.
    The specific marking system to be used by Identex will not be made public until the completion of the pilot program, but similar strategies to the Budget program have been used with great success with current oil and gas clients.
    Channel Partner iPico Holdings Pty. expects the success of this pilot project to encompass the entire fleet system of Budget Rent a Car in South Africa.
