GloTech Files for New Patent
New GlowVest(TM) Product Applies the Company's Proprietary Technology to Safety Vests
GAINESVILLE, Fla., April 28 -- GloTech Industries, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: GTHI) www.glowbike.com , today announced that the Company has filed for a patent for GlowVest(TM), a safety vest with electroluminescent panels that emits an ultra-bright light visible from any angle. The panels can be customized with the logos and/or lettering of law enforcement agencies, airport authorities, sports teams, etc. A blinking mode and adjustable strobe add additional and peripheral visibility for motorists that would otherwise see only those objects within the area covered by their headlights.
"Initial response from law enforcement agencies has been very positive as police officers who have worn GlowVests(TM) stated that they felt safer with it," noted Heinz Fraunhoffer, President and Chief Executive Officer of GloTech Industries, Inc. Presently, GlowVest(TM) is being tested by numerous organizations, including the Alachua County Florida Fire Rescue Department; the Jacksonville, Florida Sheriff's Office; the Louisville, Kentucky Police Department; and a general aviation fixed base operator at the Tallahassee, Florida airport.
With this product line addition, GloTech continues the execution of its strategy to build upon its platform technology with visibility and safety products. GloTech plans to actively engage in the creation of a new visibility standard that goes well beyond present reflective technologies.
