NAMARS PR: Tripleheader This Weekend at the Speedrome!!...

The Indianapolis Speedrome is the place to be this upcoming weekend as the
2003 season moves into full swing.  NAMARS is pleased to announce that the
2003 Thursday Night Lightning Series will open with a very special event -
The May 1st Season Opener will be in memory of JB Miller and benefit the JB
Miller Memorial Racing Scholarship Fund.  The Fund is one of the charities
wholeheartedly supported by NAMARS.

The "Thursday Night Lightning" Series of MidgetCar racing events will return
to the Indianapolis Speedrome for fifteen consecutive Thursday nights during
the 2003 racing season, May 1st through August 7.  The NAMARS Regional
MidgetCar Series, as well as the NAMARS Kenyon MidgetCar Series will compete
all fifteen weeks in 2003, including the $10,000 to win NAMARS 500 on May
21st and 22nd.  The Chicago based United Midget Auto Racing Association
(UMARA) will join NAMARS for several co-sanctioned Championship MidgetCar
events.  The recently announced NAMARS 600 MidgetCar Series will compete
once each month, and the UMRA TQ MidgetCars return to Speedrome competition
four times during the 2003 season as well, producing several "triple header"
MidgetCar events. Friday night Carmel Sod All Phase Landscaping opener
features Supermodifieds, Outlaw Stocks, Bomber Figure 8's, Hornets, and
Roadrunners.  On Saturday it's the big one.  Late Models, Outlaw Stocks,
Roadrunners and cap it off with a wild and unpredictable 50 Lap Late Model
Figure 8.  Wild Bill Tunny Jr. goes for three in a row as R.J. Norton Jr.
maintains the points lead. A huge racing tripleheader of racing as racing
