GEICO Names Warren Carroll Quality Award Winner
BALTIMORE, Md., April 25 -- Warren Carroll of Baltimore, Md. recently earned honors from GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) as a Corporate Quality Award winner for 2002.
Mr. Carroll, an auto damage manager at GEICO's Baltimore drive-in claim center, was awarded the 2002 Award for Quality Leadership. He has led the Baltimore office for the past 25 years.
"He has had the best field audits in the company for the last three years, great customer service ratings and morale that's second to none, " noted auto damage director Suzanne Worthen. "He's always thinking of ways to save the company and he challenges himself to be successful.
Carroll recently attended an awards ceremony at GEICO's headquarters in Washington, D.C., to recognize his contribution to the company and those of his fellow associates.
The Idea for Quality award program was established in 1993 to recognize individuals, teams or work groups who have demonstrated outstanding achievement by participating in and contributing to the success of GEICO's Quality Improvement Process.
