NewTech Initiates its North American Heavy Duty Truck Market Commercialization Phase

BLAINVILLE, Quebec, April 24 -- Mr. Yvon Rancourt, Chairman of NewTech Brake Corp. (OTC BB: NWTB) a subsidiary of NewTech Group International Inc., announced today the commercialization phase of NewTech Brake Corp. operations into the North American Heavy Duty Truck Market. To this effect, it was also announced that Mr. Al Pawluk has been appointed Vice President of Sales.

"This new capability affords us the opportunity to develop this market and to provide these vehicles brake performance that has never been seen up until now", said Mr. Rancourt. "This is a vital step in our process of supplying the heavy duty vehicles with the brake offering of our NewTech Full Contact disc brake."

About Mr. Al Pawluk

Mr. Pawluk is a seasoned and proven technical sales and marketing professional with over twenty-five years of experience in the Heavy Duty Truck Marketplace. He started his career at Rockwell International in 1971 as a draftsman and worked his way through the company leaving as Sales Manager of Rockwell's Specialty Vehicle segment. In 1989, he started as Director of Sales and Service for Lucas Automotive, Heavy Duty Braking Systems. During this period, he directed the launch of the company's new air drum brake. He was also part of the launch of the new company, as Director of North American Sales, when Lucas merged with Varity during the late 1990's.

Mr. Pawluk's professional development includes a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management from Lawrence Technological University (formally Lawrence Institute of Technology) along with membership in the TMC and S.A.E. and numerous seminars and workshops in the industry.
