ObjectFX Growth Continues With Product Technology Group Upgrades
MINNEAPOLIS--April 22, 2003--ObjectFX's growth continues to drive internal staffing promotions and additions. The company, which just recently announced staff additions in its leading Government Division, now is further increasing staffing resources in order to support ongoing product technology improvements. The company provides a Java-based software platform, SpatialFX(TM) that enables managing and visualizing client's assets from a variety of sources of information offering location-based intelligence.
ObjectFX has promoted Ben Grommes to the position of Senior Software engineer. Grommes has taken on the additional responsibilities of product control administration, and management of contract programming work to his current contributions of supporting the company's SpatialFX(TM) product. "Ben has consistently shown initiatives toward implementing process improvements which benefit our client base as well as the company internally," said George Flannery, Chief Technologist for ObjectFX.
Also, joining the company as a Senior Software Engineer is Rob Nielsen. Nielsen has over sixteen years of technology experience and is a skilled veteran of Java/J2EE applications. Utilizing his Extreme Programming background, he is expected to play a key role in product direction and design. Nielsen most recently was a Partner/Practice Leader for Harbinger Partners in St. Paul, Minn., and previously held senior software engineering positions with FirePond and ADC Telecommunications. In addition, Kirk Bloomquist has begun work in the Product Technology group as a Software Engineer. Bloomquist has over 5 years experience in Java/J2EE and object technologies. His broad technical background will contribute strongly towards the company's SpatialFX(TM) software releases. Bloomquist had previously held positions with Object Partners, Inc., of Minneapolis and nVisia, Inc.
